Founder Friday: How To Prepare Quinoa

Cooking at home has always been a real nécessité for me. I was raised on home-cooked meals and eating out was an occasional treat when it was my mother’s ‘payday.’ Most of our meals and things I prepare today I taught myself over the years and was not raised eating what and how I eat today.

Quinoa is one of those newbies for me. I never heard of it in the ’80s or ’90s, but that’s ok because honey, let me tell you, it’s been one of my BFF’s for the last six-plus years. Quinoa and I have fun together. Nothing fancy, simple fun. Press play to see just how simple it is to prepare quinoa.
