Dear nécessité,
Hi, beautiful being. How are you doing right now, this time of year? Try to stay relaxed and focus inward and on the beauty of what you do have rather than what you do not have. I finished holiday shopping for material possessions in July. Yes, 5 months ago. I like to enjoy this time of year and not feel frazzled about still having to look for this and for that for this person and for that person. The last thing I want to experience during this time of year is the energy of stressed shoppers, so I start early and finish early every year so I can enjoy and relish the beauty this season offers.
We know we have 365 days from December to December, so why wait for the last month to start is my attitude for myself. Unless I had little one’s requesting for specifics, then that is another thing. For me, this year, 2 gifts per child (I cannot tell you as they can read now). I want them to know it is not about what is spent or what is received or not, it is a bigger message for me that I have been implementing since they were born. I get it, do not get me wrong, we all love a little something cute to unwrap. I do indeed too, but it is not my focus. I am trying to not make it that for me and us. My focus is to stay healthy, for my friends and family to do the same and to live, have fun, smile and be joyful, and to give and to receive. I am not the best receiver, but I am learning how to do so.
As I have been on my deep healing journey to improve, heal, connect, and embrace, I have learned so much. I had no idea going as deep as I have gone was even possible. I mean, I know deep, but honey, I mean deep. We need more time for this chapter. Maybe it goes in my next book. Who knows?
For now, I am sharing with you where I see I can do better (One of the ways I can do better). I think the best gift I can give more of and demonstrate right now is by my actions. Give more of this word and receive more of it and that is L O V E…
I know, love love love. It is truly an act I absolutely aim to give and receive. It is easier for me to give it than to receive it. Giving love is so easy and natural for me. I do not have to think twice to give in anyway ever. I have realized, I have blocked it many times and, on many occasions, to receive love. Crazy right. Why block love? Fear. Afraid of being hurt. And that means being hurt in different ways. Loss. I am love. I give love but receiving love can be a challenge for me I have noticed. I am working on changing that too. Never even thought of that before, but it is true. I am a giver, not a receiver. (I hear Michael Jackson, “I’m a lover, not a fighter”).
Love is truly all we all desire at the end of the day. Love. Feel it. Be it. Give it. Receive it. But it is through what we do or do not do or say or not say for that to be LOVE.
So, this holiday season, I am going to receive love. This love is not wrapped in a box with a ribbon. Not only this time of year, but I am going to practice more of receiving this starting now in my day-to-day, in this season of receiving love. I thank you for your love. By supporting nécessité, that is an act of love and I truly wholeheartedly accept it with wide open arms to infinite.
Thank you! I love you more for that. I am grateful for your love. Do you ever feel like this yourself? What can you do to receive or give love this holiday season?Whatever it is, be filled with love and give and receive love love love. Both are important- to give and to receive.
With love, imagine how less stress we and the world can feel? Now that is beautiful. Happy holiday season loved one. From me to you. Enjoy the holidays with love. Sounds simple right!
