Dear nécessité,
Happy extra grateful time. How are you? I want to say thank you! Thank you! Thank you for sharing your time with me daily as we collectively hold space for ourselves to read, learn, and grow, as it is a nécessité. This time of year in America is a time to connect with our dear family and friends. We honor the moment differently, yet the same. I want to use this moment to give my friends extra love and many thanks. As you know, I am beyond grateful and extremely blessed for my family, and now I use this opportunity to say to my friends, thank you, thank you, and I love you.
My friends go as far back as me being 13 years of age to the present. My friends are my true friends. They are special, fun, smart, kind, loving, and much more. My guy friends, girlfriends, whatever friend, they have my back. They support me. They love me. They show up for me. They uplift me. They challenge me. They encourage me. They mentor me. They help guide me.
They pray with me. They cry with me. They hug me. They watch the moon with me. They laugh with me. They travel with me. They go to museums with me. They help me. They celebrate me. They respect me. They keep in touch with me. They care about me. They check in on me. They root for me. They cook for me. They go to the theatre with me. They drink tea with me. They shop with me.
They eat with me. They speak the truth to me. They confide in me. They believe in me. They trust me. They do a lot for and with me. So because of all of this and much more, I say thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing all of you with all of me. Please know that I love you, appreciate you, and am so blessed to have you in my life. I am thankful for you not only for today but every day. So thank you for letting me be me and you being you with me.
I hold you and our friendship in high regard with much integrity. Happy Thanksgiving, my dear friend.
(Not all my friends are featured here in these photos, but they are always in my heart and a huge part of this article.)
