Beautiful, how are you? Are you enjoying your September? I am. I am living, and I am so grateful. I am being and loving so much on ERICA….As you and I both know, I am a bird, and birds like me cannot be caged; therefore, I take flight to soar. I am all about nurturing myself, honoring myself, doing what I desire, and feeding my spirit and my soul. I have learned how to do that, and I am still learning new things that also do that for me. I knew this season that things would be better for me and take off in a way that allowed my inner goddess to shine more for me. Not me the mother, or me the wife, but me the person, me the woman, me the spirit, me the physical being who has patiently waited for this moment for over 20 years.
I decided to add some adventure back in for myself. Mentally I need it. Physically, I have had to still go and be gentle with myself and continue to allow healing to do for me holistically. Therefore, I had to take a more careful traveling experience. Be away, but wise and careful and conducive for me (Not ride the bikes, but admire those that are). I started September in London. I went to London, and while there, I had some new experiences. First of all, I took my husband and children to see Live Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle in concert together.
Chris and I friendship goes way back (before ever married), and I’ve seen him perform a few times in person, which is always great, and I am always grateful each time I am able to see him. This was my first time seeing Dave perform in the flesh. Wow, it’s true when they say laughter is medicine. I was laughing non-stop. My insides were happy too to receive that laughing energy. We had so much fun. Then we went, and we all hung out afterward. Fun. We saw their stand—up show at the famous 02 arena in England. That was a nice treat.

We were in London when the Queen passed away. Such respect and adoration they all seemed to have for her. I do not pretend to understand nor know much about the Royal family, but I so appreciate the perfection of elegance displayed when everyone is dressed immaculately in uniform, and all of the gold, red, black, jewels, fancy clean cars, and horses come front and center. It was so many people and tons of flowers flowers flowers. People came from everyone to pay their respect.
She was of dignity and an extraordinary woman who did the country very well, I heard over and over ever again.
I started visiting London in the 90s and the way it is today from then; I personally think it is more improved and more enjoyable to me.
In London, they are so caring and serious when it comes to food allergies and food intolerances. Every single restaurant (and I mean ‘every’), that we dined in, the first thing they say when you sit down is, not what can I get you to drink, but, “Do you have any food allergies or intolerances we need to know about?” I have never been to a country so on it like this. Not even in America. Impressive beyond. I think everyone can learn and take notes from them and how they handle food allergies. I had no issue eating anywhere. Not one restaurant made any error with our dietary restrictions.
I share with you here a list of restaurants you may want to consider if you’re in the London area any time soon. Suitable for Vegan, Vegetarian, Plant- Based, and Gluten Free, they are aware of all allergies communicated.
